Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic, Aggressive, and result-oriented Operations Head to lead and optimize our plant operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth production processes, implementing operational excellence, improving efficiency, and driving growth through strategic planning and team leadership
Key Responsibilities
Oversee end-to-end plant operations, including forging, casting, heat treatment, fabrication, and machining.
Develop and implement production schedules to meet delivery timelines and quality targets.
Maintain strong control over shop floor discipline and execution.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives for productivity, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
Monitor KPIs like OEE, downtime, rejection rate, and resource utilization.
Implement safety protocols and maintain plant compliance with ISO and other certifications.
Report directly to top management with regular updates on operations and performance.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or a relevant field (MBA preferred).
Experience: 20 years of experience in the forging, casting, or heavy engineering industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of casting or forging processes, die design, heat treatment, and machine shop operations.
Mindset: Ability to perform in a startup-like, target-driven environment.
